Lester's Super Market...1946
The super market's owner was Lester Greenstein.
The
building, now the Hurleyville Firemen's Park,
contained a produce market, a
grocery store, a butcher shop,
and six apartments.
A shoemaker shop was in a separate building.
There were eight garages, a chicken coop, a bungalow and a large
gazebo in the back of the main building.
This was the largest building
and and the largest commercial property in Hurleyville at that time.
